Rich Communication Suite – Advanced Communications Services and Client Specification Version 15.0

This specification defines the overall interaction between an RCS client and the network as well as covering some network internal procedures to support that and enabling the interoperability between RCS networks as defined in GSMA PRD IR.90. Compared to the previous version, it adds enhancements to the device configuration process and different hook points where end-to-end encryption would be applicable. It also defines the new deep link format for Chatbots based on the rcs.me domain, the procedures for unsubscribing from and re-subscribing to a Chatbot, extensions to the Chatbot Message format to support a new copy to clipboard action and evolutions of the Chatbot Information format to make it easier to comply with regulation in different jurisdictions. Next to those, it also improves on the handling of message reactions and introduces new codecs to improve the Audio Messaging experience.
