Lynk Global and Anterix are collaborating to test private direct-to-device (D2D) satellite communications for critical infrastructure industries such as utilities, transportation, logistics, pipelines, and military bases. Using Anterix’s licensed 900 MHz spectrum and Lynk’s satellite network, the companies will trial connectivity for devices including radios, smartphones, routers, and edge devices across multiple locations.
The partnership aims to explore a new category of secure and resilient private satellite-enabled networks, combining low-band terrestrial spectrum with Lynk’s multi-spectrum satellite platform to support industrial and mission-critical communications.
