AI continues to attract investments

Last week, Nvidia took part in an $80 million funding round for Israeli-based startup CytoReason, which uses AI to develop models that can detect diseases. Separately, investment company Menlo Ventures and developer Anthropic have launched a $100 million fund to seek promising early-stage AI startups. Meanwhile, SK Telecom has agreed to invest $200 million in US-based Smart Global Holdings, which primarily focuses on AI infrastructure solutions.

AI continues to attract significant investment across the tech and telecom industries, driven by an increasing interest in building and scaling up AI solutions. Amid intense competition and high costs, investment in AI could be the catalyst to reignite broader growth in the telecoms sector.
