Cybersecurity Awareness Month Webinar: Protecting individuals and organisations in the Age of Evolving Cyber Threats
Cybercrime is at an all-time high, with attackers increasingly targeting telecommunications providers due to their extensive infrastructure and large customer base. It is essential for teams to understand evolving cyber risks and the tactics adversaries use.
This one-hour session will educate individuals and organizations on online security and best practices to protect against cyber threats. Participants will receive an engaging overview of the current cyber threat landscape, including key drivers, scale, and evolving tactics of malicious actors.
In this interactive session, the speaker from Cortida, a specialist information and cybersecurity consultancy, will utilise CyberSec Deck to help our T-ISAC members understand the risks of phishing and spear-phishing, which remain the most common entry points for ransomware and other attacks. Real-world examples will illustrate how criminal groups use social engineering, highlighting risks to both individuals and organizations. The session will also address emerging risks from artificial intelligence, such as misuse of AI tools, advanced phishing campaigns, and deepfakes. By understanding these developments, participants will be better prepared to recognize, resist, and report cyber threats.
This session is exclusive for GSMA T-ISAC members only. For each successful registration, you will receive a set of CyberSec Deck by mail. Deadline of registration is October 10, 2025.
