Digital Trust Summit at M360 ASEAN
1. Digital Trust Summit Keynote Session: Digital Trust as a National Capability – Protecting Citizens, Enabling Inclusion and Strengthening Resilient Digital Nations
10:00 – 11:00 | Grand Ballroom
What does it take to build the trusted digital nations of tomorrow? The flagship opening session of the Digital Trust Summit brings together distinguished keynote speakers and senior leaders from government, regulators and industry to set the strategic direction for the day. As ASEAN accelerates its digital transformation, trust is fast becoming a strategic capability, not just a cybersecurity concern. This session brings together distinguished leaders to formally open both the Digital Trust Summit and M360 ASEAN, setting the direction and launching regional dialogue on working together to build trusted, inclusive, and resilient nations.
2. Digital Trust Summit Session 1: Strengthening Digital Trust — Policy and Governance Responses to Scams and Fraud
11:30 – 12:30 | Grand Ballroom
Every scam that reaches a user undermines trust in ASEAN’s digital economy. This session opens with a short framing that sets the stakes for the discussion ahead, before launching two major GSMA research publications — the Digital Nations ASEAN 2026 Report: Building Trust in ASEAN’s Digital Future, and the GSMA ASEAN Consumer Scam Survey Report 2026 — offering the latest regional data on consumer experience and policy priorities. These insights set the stage for the policy leadership panel, “Building ASEAN’s Coordinated Response to Scams and Fraud,” where policymakers, regulators and industry leaders explore practical approaches to strengthening trusted communications, digital identity and cross-sector collaboration.
3. Digital Trust Summit Session 2: From Trust to Participation: The Technologies Powering Inclusive Digital Nations
13:30 – 14:45 | Grand Ballroom
Trust is not the destination — it is what enables people to participate confidently in the digital nation. This session opens with an address exploring technology’s dual role as both a driver of digital inclusion and a challenge requiring robust safety frameworks, before moving into a fireside conversation in which a global advocate for family and youth online safety joins UNICEF youth leaders to explore what builds trust in digital services and AI for the next generation. The session closes with the panel discussion, “The Technologies Powering Inclusive Digital Nations,” bringing together leaders across telecommunications, digital identity, IoT and online safety to examine how mobile identity, age assurance, Open Gateway APIs and scam signal sharing can turn security into a driver of equitable participation.
4. Digital Trust Summit Session 3: Resilient Digital Nations — Building Trust, Economic Continuity and Societal Resilience
15:30 – 17:00 | Grand Ballroom
How do trusted digital nations remain trusted when crisis strikes? Closing the Digital Trust Summit, this session opens with an address on anchoring trust through resilient infrastructure, before a fireside conversation on protecting lives and livelihoods through resilience and rapid recovery. A short briefing on spectrum policy follows, examining the regulatory foundations that underpin resilient networks, before the session closes with the panel discussion, “Networks for Resilient Digital Nations: Preparedness, Continuity and Innovation in ASEAN,” where government and industry leaders explore how resilient networks, AI-enabled early warning systems and satellite connectivity can safeguard lives and sustain economic continuity across ASEAN.
