Huawei: BIT mentor

Resource thumbnail

The booming livestreaming business requires great network experience for users. Operators are up against three major challenges: First, they are blindly provisioning services, which may lead to complaints during peak hours. Second, there’s no guarantee of a good user experience. And third, they lack clear awareness of how good or bad the user experience is. All these result in a high rate of user churn.

Solution:

To promote the development of new services, AIS collaborated with Huawei to introduce an intelligent solution for ensuring end-to-end (E2E) deterministic experience. It shortens the service rollout time from days to just minutes and improves service reliability by more than 90%. The livestreaming package allows operators to offer differentiated services that cater to the diverse user experience needs while maximizing their revenue.

Traditional livestreaming packages generally allocate services in bulk with fixed quality of service class identifier (QCI) assurance. BIT mentor solutions can precisely allocate services with deterministic experience guarantee and awareness.

•Predict: Using a foundation model to predict uplink throughput satisfaction in real time for services over the next few hours. This approach allows us to allocate livestreaming services immediately with an accuracy of over 90%.

•Guarantee: Our intelligent service awareness and dynamic resource allocation ensure that livestreaming package users have a top-notch experience.

•Evaluate: The service experience map visualizes package user experience to facilitate E2E business success.

Impact:

  • User identification accuracy: The accuracy of identifying potential high-value users has increased to over 90%.
  • Number allocation success rate: The success rate of user package subscription number allocation has reached over 95%.
  • VIP user assurance rate: The assurance rate for the smooth operation of VIP users’ services has increased to 98%.
  • Experience monitoring coverage: The coverage rate of experience monitoring on both the network side and terminal side has reached 100%.
