Quality Forge 2026, the annual software quality conference organized by GSMA Member TestDevLab, will take place online on October 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM EET. This year’s theme is “How AI is Shaping Engineering.” The one-day event will bring together more than 10 speakers, including engineers, product managers, and business leaders, to talk about how AI is changing the way engineering teams build, test, and ship software.
The sessions focus on practice rather than promises. Speakers will share how their teams use AI to move faster, including what is working, what is not, and what to try next. Talks run back to back across six industry areas: AI and technology, ecommerce and retail, travel and mobility, finance and payments, consumer and entertainment, and enterprise and productivity. This lets attendees see how AI adoption plays out in sectors that face very different constraints.

Closing the gap between knowing and doing
“Most teams know AI matters,” says Joshua Griffiths, Host of Quality Forge 2026. “What is harder to find is what it looks like in someone else’s codebase, under someone else’s deadlines, held to someone else’s quality bar.”
That gap is what Quality Forge sets out to close. The conference gives attendees a look at real implementations, lessons learned, and open questions from teams working with AI every day.
Built for everyone who touches software
Quality Forge is not limited to one type of company or role. It is designed for anyone who builds, tests, ships, manages, or makes decisions about software, including engineers, QA leads, product managers, CTOs, founders, security professionals, compliance officers, and operations leads. Attendees do not need to be working with AI already to benefit from the sessions.
The conference has built a reputation for bringing together a wide range of voices. Past editions have featured speakers from Disney, Rabobank, Lenovo, Nuvei, Stream, Canva, Bolt, Mindvalley, and BrowserStack. Last year’s speakers described the event as “fantastic” and an honor to be part of.
