Mobile 360 Series – Europe: Mobilising the Digital Single Market

The GSMA’s Mobile 360 Series – Europe event returns to Brussels on 14 June to explore the theme: Mobilising the Digital Single Market. The high level event will again bring together key mobile industry and European policy leaders to build on the progress made at the previous edition.

Participants at the 2016 event will explore key innovations across the mobile ecosystem and the consequences for digital policies. It will provide a timely opportunity to discuss and debate the necessary changes to the policy framework to realise the full potential of the Digital Single Market.

Andrus Ansip, Günther Oettinger, European Commissioner, Digital Economy & Society, and Alexander De Croo, Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium, Minister for Digital Agenda and Telecoms, will be among the speakers. They will be joined by industry leaders, including Pierre Louette, Orange Deputy CEO, and Kaan Terzioğlu, Turkcell CEO.

The speakers and delegates will debate the impact of innovative mobile and digital technologies on different sectors of the EU’s economy, the Digital Single Market Strategy and the Telecoms Framework Review and the consequent benefits for consumers, businesses and governments. The conference will also explore the potential of forthcoming 5G technologies, with a particular focus on enterprise services and financial technology.

A showcase, running alongside the conference, will enable attendees to engage with the latest mobile innovations from industry players, and learn more about the GSMA’s programmes.
