The Europe edition of the Mobile 360 Series will bring together the European Commission’s Vice President Andrus Ansip, Commissioner Günther Oettinger, and senior industry executives in Brussels to discuss how to mobilise the Digital Single Market. In light of the ongoing Telecoms Framework Review, which will enable Europe to harmonise and reset the regulatory framework to drive mobile sector growth and innovation, the event will provide a timely opportunity to explore trends and innovation across the rapidly evolving mobile ecosystem. Mobile 360 Europe will also examine how the mobile ecosystem can continue to drive growth, competitiveness and job creation across all European sectors.

The event’s keynotes will focus on the challenges and opportunities presented by 5G technologies and how to ensure a regulatory framework that achieves digital leadership for Europe. Further high-level debates and demos will shed light on the latest developments in the enterprise services, financial technology and wearable devices markets.  Mobile 360 Europe will also examine the opportunities new mobile and digital technologies, such as 5G, can provide in a European Digital Single Market. Furthermore, delegates will discuss how different industries and policy makers can work in partnership to ensure digital policies can realise mobile’s full potential in the EU.

Mobile 360 Europe will also answer other key questions, such as: How can governments, regulators and operators work together to increase the efficient deployment of LTE networks across the EU? How will today’s investments in network technologies help operators make the most out of LTE and best position them to take advantage of 5G? What further work will need to be carried out by regulators, industry bodies, operators and their partners to ensure Europe stays at the forefront of the development of 5G technologies?
