The GSMA invites you to join the launch of its latest flagship report “The Mobile Economy Europe 2022”. Produced by our renowned in-house research team, GSMA Intelligence, this year’s edition will provide the latest insights on the state of the mobile industry in Europe and a range of technology, socio-economic and financial datasets, including forecasts out to 2025. The presentation of the report will be followed by a panel debate on “The future of 5G Connectivity in the EU – Next steps”, organised by Euractiv, which will assess where the EU is on 5G development and how Europe’s digital competitiveness compares to other regions. Questions to be addressed include:

  • How can policymakers ensure that national and EU level regulations are in line with the Digital Decade targets?
  • What policies could drive economic growth and social welfare when it comes to 5G connectivity in Europe?
  • How can the upcoming Connectivity Infrastructure Act facilitate full 5G coverage in the EU?

The event will be hosted in a hybrid format, in-person participation is encouraged.
