Creating propositions to support parents in safeguarding their children in Austria, Croatia and Greece
As technology becomes an increasingly important part of many families’ lives, some parents might choose to give their child a mobile device that has some additional protection. Deutsche Telekom and its subsidiaries have developed various propositions to meet the needs of parents so they can support their children as they begin their digital journeys. These include:
T-Mobile Austria offers Kinderschutz, which helps parents to protect their children from violent, sexual and other harmful content on their smartphone or tablet. Parents can also agree with their child to set time limits and block apps and premium services in order to avoid unwanted costs.
In Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom provides parental controls that help to filter inappropriate content and match the mobile services available to the child’s age and capacities. The controls include safe browsing and only allowing calls and messages from approved contacts.
Families in Greece can use the COSMOTE Family Safety app to support their child as they explore the digital world. The app enables parents to filter online content that might not be suitable for the child, agree limits on screen time and keep track of where they are.
