About the session

This session explored how 5G-Advanced is unlocking new revenue streams for MNOs through innovations such as enhanced mobile AI, network slicing, and Massive IoT. With a focus on the advancements from Releases 18 to 20, we examined how these technologies are expanding 5G use cases and reshaping service delivery. Through alignment with the GSMA Open Gateway initiative, Release 19 streamlined deployment and interoperability, empowering MNOs to deliver innovative services.

Industry experts shared insights into commercialisation strategies, deployment practices, and the transformative impact of these developments on the 5G ecosystem. Discussions covered topics such as readiness for 5G-Advanced, MNO monetisation opportunities, and the role of AI and network slicing in future mobile networks. The session also featured insights from industry leaders on the evolution of mobile technology and the launch of the GSMA 5G Futures Community initiative.
