The IP Communications Issues Registry now contains hundreds of issues and solutions which can be used as a knowledge base for IMS service interoperability, VoLTE, ViLTE and RCS.
The GSMA Network 2020 Programme is working to ensure a stable and interoperable platform for the provision of IP Communication Services, within and across networks and between differently sourced devices.
In order to explore and provide solutions to technical/operational issues seen in the early deployments of IMS services, the GSMA has initiated an IP Communications Issues Registry as an online knowledge-share for the industry. Members may raise, track and discuss issues, and view existing resolutions via an online tool. The IP Communications Issues Registry provides a GSMA-hosted knowledge-base of issues that affect IMS service interoperability, VoLTE, ViLTE and RCS. It provides a reference point for those deploying IP communications services to learn from issues experienced by others, and to promote rapid growth of the overall IP communications ecosystem.
The IP Communications Issues Registry is open to all Members (Operator and Vendor community) to raise new issues and to review existing issues and their associated solutions. Information is stored and maintained only within the IC2 group, and therefore only GSMA members have visibility of raised issues.
- The Registry can be accessed via the GSMA N2020 Public Website:- https://www.gsma.com/solutions-and-impact/technologies/networks/digest/ip-communications-issues-registry/
- NOTE: It is important to register to the IC2 Group in order to receive updates.
- NOTE: It is possible for Non-members to raise issues via the public web-form.
Using the IP Communications Issues Registry
To register a new issue complete the online Web-Form accessible by the GSMA N2020 Public Website: https://www.gsma.com/solutions-and-impact/technologies/networks/digest/ip-communications-issues-registry/
You will receive an email confirmation receipt upon submitting your query, should you wish to add more information or an attachment to your Case, please respond to the email. Please note that this information is confidential to the requestor and GSMA HQ only. The GSMA team will anonymise the data, to guarantee confidentiality of the requestor.
