This document presents an analysis of the utilization of the 700 MHz radio electric spectrum range by telecommunication/broadcasting companies in Brazil and in certain countries of the world. The purpose of this study is to examine the available alternatives for optimizing occupancy in order to meet the need for more spectrum faced by mobile telecommunication and broadcasting services caused by the increased demand and technological evolution, focusing on the band occupancy known as “Digital Dividend.”
