An overview of our development offerings is detailed below:
GSMA Learning Platform
The GSMA Learning Platform is home to our onboarding and compliance training, past Lunch & Learn recordings, and where you can register to attend any of our quarterly open training schedule sessions.
Team development
With the diverse range of work undertaken in the organisation, there are times when you and your team may identify a development need specific to your team. The People Development team will work with you to help craft an effective solution to meet your learning needs.
Individual training/sponsorship
There are many unique roles at the GSMA, we therefore recognise that our open schedule training will not cover every individual development need.
As a result, we will always consider sponsoring individual development requests to complete high-quality courses or gain professional qualifications relevant to your role, as well as to attend relevant conferences or events that support your development journey.
Professional development days
To further support your development, employees are eligible for four professional development days per calendar year. These can be used for study leave, to attend a self-funded course or conferences, to volunteer, or for any cultural/religious days or holidays.
LinkedIn Learning
All GSMA staff have access to LinkedIn Learning. With over 20,000 courses available on-demand, people from across the entire organisation can benefit from LinkedIn’s high-quality content. From communication to leadership, coding to generative AI, and much more, LinkedIn Learning is a great place to start when you are looking to build your knowledge and skills.
Manager training
Our managers are integral to our culture as well as key to driving successful business operations. To support your continued success, we offer specific training for managers, designed to build and sharpen your skills that help you manage effectively and develop your team.
Mentorship
Where appropriate, there are opportunities to be matched with a mentor or mentee to enhance your development.
Lunch and Learn
We regularly run Lunch & Learn sessions diving into industry ‘hot’ topics and/or GSMA work.
