Drive 5G development with Global Alliance partnership

According to GSMA Intelligence, 5G connections surpassed 1.5 billion at the end of 2023 – before reaching two billion by the end 2025. This momentum confirms 5G as the fastest generational roll-out, when compared to 3G and 4G. Growth will also come from key markets within APAC and LATAM, such as Brazil and India, which have recently launched 5G networks. China starts to deploy 3GPP Rel. 17 technologies including Redcap and drives 5G Advance.

The enterprise market will be the main driver of 5G revenue growth over the next decade. Edge computing and IoT technology presents further opportunities for 5G, with 12% of operators having already launched private wireless solutions – a figure that will grow with a wider range of expected IoT deployments in 2024.

The Global 5G Alliance Summit takes place in GSMA Knowledge Zone (Hall 8.1 CC8.17 & 8.16) alongside MWC Barcelona 2024 at the Fira Gran Via, Barcelona on Thursday 29 Feb 2024 from 10:00am – 12:30am will bring together APAC 5G Industry Community contributors, global 5G leader, Alliances and Association to share
