Cloud AR/VR Roundtable

Venue: Hui Room, Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel, Shanghai

Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) are transformative technologies which will revolutionise the consumption of content in both the consumer and the enterprise sectors. With more and more services moving to the Cloud, AR/VR will likely follow the trend. AR/VR requires significant data transfer, low latency, big storage and massive computing capabilities, where telecom operators can play important roles via 5G, Edge Computing and the Cloud.

The GSMA would like to establish a Cloud AR/VR Forum focusing on the following topics, in order to help operators tackle the challenges of this new service:

  • Identify the key use cases in Cloud AR/VR
  • Investigate value chain, stakeholders and business models
  • Share case studies and best implementation practices

Please note, this Roundtable is invitation only. If you are interested in attending, please email the Future Networks team by clicking the button below and sending us an email.
