In February 2024, at MWC Barcelona, the GSMA announced a new cohort of start-ups for the GSMA Innovation Fund for Climate Resilience and Adaptation 2.0. The fund is designed to help accelerate the testing, adoption and scalability of digital innovations that enable the world’s most vulnerable populations to adapt, anticipate and absorb the negative impacts of climate change, or strengthen biodiversity.
During the GSMA Innovation Fund Bootcamp held in Jakarta in July 2024, we spoke with some innovators from the new Climate Resilience and Adaptation Fund cohort to learn about the problems they are trying to solve and what they hope to achieve over the grant term.
