The Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) Policy Group comprises of senior public policy representatives from the largest operator groups in the Africa region.
This group represents the interest of the region’s operators on the GSMA Board’s agenda and its Global Policy Group.
It provides strategic direction to the GSMA in the Africa region, in particular, to determine the Regional Group’s public policy priorities, as part of the GSMA’s annual business planning cycle, in coordination with the Board’s Policy and Strategy Committees and the GSMA’s Global Policy Group.
The current Policy Group Chair is Daddy Mukadi, the Chief Regulatory Officer at Airtel Africa.
