End: Wednesday 22 November 2023 17:30

Venue: Online (GMT+8)

In this joint forum session, we bring together members of the GSMA APAC 5G Industry & IoT community, and the GSMA Digital Industries community, to discuss the role of Mobile Private Networks in the manufacturing sector across APAC and Europe.

Industrial companies have been gradually progressing on digital transformation over the last few years with innovation in cloud, digital twins, IoT and AI driving new opportunities for cost saving, safety management, sustainability, and productivity.  Increasingly, industrial enterprises are considering mobile private networks for their supporting infrastructure, and the market has responded with an explosion of private network propositions available.

In this joint forum we will bring together expert views from the manufacturer, operator, network vendors, technology providers, and government bodies. We will discuss:

  • What the manufacturer needs from network infrastructure to achieve their ambitions
  • How 5G can support technologies like computer vision and enable a future Industrial Metaverse
  • Deployment experiences, benefits and challenges
  • Key considerations when looking to deploy a Private Network
