A2P Future Messaging Labs

What are A2P Future Messaging Labs?

GSMA’s A2P Future Messaging Labs have been designed to bring together leading stakeholders in the messaging industry to discuss the operational and commercial requirements that will enable RCS to become an industry-leading A2P messaging platform.

The Labs take place throughout the year and are open to all organisations in the messaging space, including mobile operators, aggregators, marketing companies and brands.
The Lab sessions cover key topics such as:

  • Monetisation
  • Privacy, Security and Trust
  • Interconnection
  • Customer Experience

How will you benefit from attending an A2P Lab?

Messaging as a Platform (MaaP) will require a paradigm shift in the way MNOs work, requiring closer relationships with partners and a mindset change to deal with them as partners and not vendors. To make this new environment possible, the GSMA A2P Future Messaging Lab is designed to ensure that the entire ecosystem collaborates openly and effectively to ensure value for all stakeholders.

Specifically, the Lab is a forum to enable RCS to become an industry-leading A2P messaging platform by listening, sharing and identifying and resolving issues as the standards for MaaP are written. Operators, aggregators, marketing companies and brands are engaged from the beginning and are jointly committed to the success of the platform.
