As the Americas experiences explosive growth in its digital economy, businesses across the continent are searching for an identity solution that adds security, convenience and privacy to their  services.

At the inaugural Mobile World Congress Americas, digital identity will be at the heart of the event’s GSMA Innovation City. This mock urban environment will contain the latest use-cases and applications of the mobile industry’s identity solution, Mobile Connect.

Demonstration Partner Description
San Diego Ambulance – Authentication San Diego Health Connect, American Medical Response, W.A.T.E.R Attendees will have the opportunity to experience how, in an emergency situation, medical personnel attending to a patient in an ambulance (American Medical Response) can use Mobile Connect to authenticate into the San Diego Health Connect HIE, through the W.A.T.E.R application, to access the patient’s electronic medical record using a mobile device, phone number and biometrics.
VISA -Authorisation VISA After having set up a limit to be charged on their VISA card, consumers can use Mobile Connect to authorise a payment higher than this limit
Mobile Connect Music – Authentication Kuack Media Group, Sony Music, Universal Music and Warner Music Mobile Connect Music is a music streaming app delivered by the market leader in white label music streaming services, Kuack Media Group. This service created for MWC17 is to promote the ease of offering this service for mobile operators and the security and convenience of accessing this app with the use of Mobile Connect. Once into Mobile Connect Music users can access over 10 million songs and videos provided by partners Sony Music, Universal Music and Warner Music.
Connected Vending Machine -Attributes InterBev, NokNok Companies selling alcoholic beverages can control underage consumption with Mobile Connect. At the same time, consumers can use Mobile Connect to verify they are old enough to buy alcohol drinks from a vending machine. This demonstration offers attendees the opportunity to win prizes, including tickets to Mobile World Congress Barcelona and Mobile 360 Series in Latin America. Read our terms and conditions
