Empathy is the ability to personally relate to what someone else is thinking and feeling. You can practice empathy by listening actively to your customers and valuing their inputs. Be curious about what drives the customer’s opinion, how the person’s life or situation is. Ask questions that can help you imagine yourself in their shoes. Remember, by listening actively, your customers are more likely to give you honest feedback that can truly help you improve your product or service.
