The GSMA organised a capacity building workshop on best practice for spectrum auctions in India for the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on 24th September 2014. The meeting provided a platform for open discussions around conducting spectrum auctions and to underline the negative impact of high prices on industry investment.
