This research was conducted jointly by The Faculty of Electronics & Telecommunications, VNU University of Engineering & Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and The Economic Research Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, Posts & Telecommunications Institute of Technology. The paper details the socio-economic impact of using spectrum for different services in comparison to mobile and looks out to 2020 to forecast spectrum allocation needs for different industries and the impact of Vietnam’s GDP.
