Hot Spot Wi-Fi project which was launched previously this year made high speed Wi-Fi Internet available in various locations of Baku. The service is available for mobile devices, laptops, tablets, and etc.
Bakcell has used the latest available technology to provide the largest outdoor Wi-Fi coverage in Azerbaijan to date and is very pleased to make it free to use for its subs starting from Qurban Bayram.
Wi-Fi coverage is available in the following locations: Academy of Sciences and Huseyn Javid Park, Philharmonic Hall Park and Icheri Sheher subway station area, Fountain Square, Nizami Street, Park named after Zarifa Aliyeva, Narimanov Park, Sabir Park, Khagani Park, Sahil Park, Technical University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Mugan Park, Samad Vurgun Park, Winter Park, and Heydar Aliyev Park (opposite to Central Bank of Azerbaijan)
The service is available to all Bakcell customers. In order to connect to Bakcell Wi-Fi you need to have an active balance. To connect to Bakcell Wi-Fi select Bakcell Wi-Fi from the list of hotspots available and follow easy registration process to get connection password. After getting connection password enter it on landing page and enjoy FREE Wi-Fi Internet.
Speed for internet service is up to 10Mb/s and depends on the distance to the nearest Wi-Fi access point. Free access to Bakcell Wi-Fi will be available from 13.10.2013 until 30.12.2013
