Global Message Services AG (GMS), the leading telecommunications company and international mobile advertising and A2P/P2P messaging expert is proud to announce that it is now ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000-1 and ISO 27001 certified. The certification followed an on-site audit of GMS systems and processes and was conducted in accordance with the LL-C (Certification) Group auditing and certification procedures.
ISO 9001 is a fundamental Quality Management certification aimed at helping organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to a product.
ISO/IEC 20000-1 certification ensures that GMS has implemented a cost effective and quality IT service management system.
ISO 27001 is the internationally best-known standard for an information security management system. In the process of earning the certification, GMS implemented comprehensive information security controls in order to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information processed by GMS. ISO 27001 confirms that GMS meets the requirements for the processing of highly sensitive information such as bank account information and passwords.
While completing the ISO 27001 certification, GMS has also adopted the requirements of the Swiss Financial Market Authority regarding Outsourcing (FINMA Circular 2008/07) and Operational Risks (FINMA Circular 2008/21) which affirms that our outsourcing solutions comply with the requirements of banking secrecy and data protection.
