New Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility Opened by 7Layers in Sunnyvale, CA

We are proud to announce that in Sunnyvale, CA, 7layers has opened a further formally recognized Bluetooth® Qualification Test Facility (BQTF). Both the large variety of local customers in Silicon Valley and global customers can be supported even better now, due to our expanded Bluetooth Qualification Services and testing capacity, which is crucial due to the recent growth in Wearables, Samt Home and other connected devices within the IoT utilizing Bluetooth technology.

Bluetooth SIG Qualification, CTIA Bluetooth Compatibility Certification, Country approvals from 7layers help ease market access of your Bluetooth enabled devices. For over 15 years we have been involved in Bluetooth qualification, supporting manufacturers of devices, chipsets and modules.

7layers uses its in-house developed test solutions, the  InterLab Test Solution Bluetooth RF in Sunnyvale, Irvine (USA)  and Ratingen (Germany).

The test solution’s high level of automation enables us to speed up test processes, using advanced object-under-test automation techniques, configurable repeat scenarios and adaptive signaling methods. All three 7layers BQTFs use the InterLab Test Solution Bluetooth RF. It is also installed at major BQTFs/BRTFs all over the world.

Features and use cases keep expanding by Bluetooth technology.

In order to improve Smart Services / IoT functionalities with higher data speeds and mesh networking, the Bluetooth SIG has announced a 2016 technology roadmap. Companies utilizing Bluetooth technology as part of their Smart Service, benefit from the 7layers SODA Model, which we to structure and organize the verification of complex requirements.
