Route Mobile acquires Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) provider Call 2 Connect

Route Mobile Limited, a global provider of communication services, today announced it has acquired leading Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) provider Call 2 Connect India Pvt. Ltd. (Call 2 Connect or C2C) from Arabi Holding Group Company K.S.C.
The acquisition sees Route Mobile’s employee numbers soar, growing from close to 400 to more than 1500 globally, changing the company’s status from a medium (MSME) to a large size enterprise.
Call 2 Connect will become an independent subsidiary of Route Mobile Limited.

Expanding the Route Mobile Group portfolio
The purchase of C2C follows Route Mobile’s earlier acquisitions of Indian based SMS and Value Added Service (VAS) solutions provider Cellent Technologies and Singaporean based Defero Mobile.

Providing a range of customer support solutions including Voice, Non-Voice, back office processing and consulting services in the digital payment arena, the addition of this acclaimed ITES provider to the Route Mobile Group portfolio aims to offer the company’s customers unprecedented scope – everything through software application development and customisation, web support, BPO and document development, technical as well as customer care assistance, life cycle management and HR training.

“We embarked on an inorganic growth strategy last year with a vision to offer a wider bouquet of services to our enterprise customers,” says Rajdip Gupta, Group CEO, Route Mobile Limited. “Call 2 Connect is a welcome addition to our portfolio. The company’s experience and expertise of having worked with every telecom company in India will benefit our customers greatly. The customer centric approach both our companies have in common will help us strengthen our relationships with global telco partners, helping them to safeguard their investments, reduce their costs and ultimately create the stable business environments they are looking for.”

“Call 2 Connect was set up to provide exemplary customer service and has repeatedly won accolades for exactly that. We are convinced that Route Mobile, with its financial strength and global relationships, will take our services to enterprises globally. The acquisition will provide a critical fillip to our business in the national and international markets,” commented Aneel Sinhaa, Managing Director, Call 2 Connect India Pvt. Ltd.
