Sicap Intelligence deployed for Eagle Mobile in Albania

Berne, Switzerland, 29/03/2012. Sicap Intelligence takes the guesswork out of service marketing for operators. Common marketing questions such as « Are enough of our customers using smartphones for us to launch a Facebook mobile access offer? » are answered by the sicap Device Base Analysis service, promoted at the recent Mobile World Congress 2012.

Sicap Device Base Analysis has recently given Eagle Mobile in Albania a complete picture of devices being used. In Eagle Mobile’s case, the results show the popularity of their subsidised Eagle-branded devices against smartphones and feature phones purchased from uncontrolled channels, outside Eagle Mobile’s point-of-sale control.

Mr Murat Gurkas, Marketing Director of Eagle Mobile said of the analysis that “It was important for us to get a real life snapshot of which devices are being used by our subscribers in order for us to know our subscribers better, anticipate their needs in the near future, and be able to roll out special offers at the right moment in time. Details of mobile devices according to type, model, features or capabilities are captured and graphically exposed for service marketing purposes by sicap Intelligence. All operators who have so far benefited from the sicap service have been able to make more accurate return on investment predictions for their promotions, and have gained a competitive market advantage in their country.
