[Bucharest, Romania, July, 2023] – SC Simartis Telecom SRL, a dynamic and innovative provider of telecommunication solutions for global telco market, is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Security Accreditation Scheme for Subscription Management (SAS-SM) by the GSM Association (GSMA), confirming its position among the selected few providers of such secure solution. This certification follows the successful completion of the Dry Audit from the first try for the Simartis’s e SIM RSP solution, the Virtual Subscription Management (VSM).
Simartis is now able to work for mobile operators supporting their eSIM deployments with the highest level of operational security, functionality, and interoperability in compliance with SAS-SM Standard v3.2 and the SAS Consolidated Security requirements v9.2 with certified Data Center Operations and Management, Subscription Management and Data Preparation+.
The successful team effort has ensured that the company takes a major step forward in the implementation and contribution to eSIM technology, bringing it one step closer to delivering seamless connectivity and enhanced user experiences to its customers and consequently to mobile users all over the world.
The eSIM RSP solution now certified by GSMA, strengthens the product portfolio, making Simartis’s product portfolio, alongside OTA SIM and Automatic Device Management solutions, a very compelling proposition to MNOs and MVNOs all around the world.
For the Virtual Subscription Management (VSM) to comply with the world-class security requirements specified by the GSMA SAS-SM accreditation, Simartis’s eSIM solution architecture relies on the usage of dedicated Hardware Security Module (HSM) and base of the Root of Trust mechanism to securely store network sensitive data. To achieve this, Simartis successfully partnered up with Entrust, world leading HSM security provider, implementing a fully redundant software and hardware secure solution in our datacenter in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
