Malmö, Sweden – February 8, 2017: San Francisco-based Twilio Inc., the leading cloud communications platform company, has acquired Beepsend, a Malmö-based Application to Person (A2P) SMS messaging provider. With the acquisition, Beepsend will help accelerate the product roadmap for the Twilio Super Network.

The company was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Malmö, Sweden. In 2016, the company was voted a Tier 1 A2P SMS Messaging Provider globally in a survey of 260 mobile network operators (MNOs) across 188 countries covering more than 35 KPIs on performance and leadership.
