Partnership in Motion: GSMA Grand Tour
This session will focus on the September 2013 cycle ride from Brussels to Barcelona that offered a unique opportunity to demonstrate mHealth solutions for diabetes and conduct clinical research. It also provided a platform for reaching out to policy makers and regulators about the opportunity for mHealth solutions to help solve the ever increasing burden of healthcare costs for chronic diseases.

The goals of the Tour were only achieved through partnership on all levels. In this session, the partners will discuss why the Grand Tour was such a valuable demonstration of mHealth for all stakeholders, and how the process itself can be a model for successful mHealth deployment. We will also view the first set of results and preliminary conclusions of the research study.
