The mobile industry and pay-as-you-go (PAYG) solar companies are natural allies. Recent GSMA research demonstrates that mobile operators gain significant commercial value through these partnerships while enabling them to become a central part of their customers’ everyday lives through something as essential as energy. This session brought together mobile operators, and a range of pay-as-you-go utility service providers, to look into the future of these partnerships.
