A Discussion with Android on Enhancing Digital Skills in Africa

In this video we hear from Jonathan Bordage, Market Engagement Manager of Connected Society as he talks about the key barriers to mobile internet adoption and explains how the GSMA Mobile Internet Skills Training Toolkit (MISTT) helps to address the digital skills barrier.

We then speak to Mariam Abdullahi, Director of Android Platform Partnerships, Africa at Google who discusses what Google is doing to advance digital inclusion and specifically to tackle the digital skills gap. She also speaks to us about why Google decided to partner with the GSMA to design the new Android MISTT Module and how Google are now using this module.
