The GSMA Innovation Fund for Assistive Tech was set up to find start-ups, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and social enterprises in Africa and Asia that are driving the digital inclusion of people with disabilities.

This initiative is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and supported by the GSMA and its members.

SignAble Communications, India

SignAble Communications, a grantee from the GSMA Innovation Fund for Assistive Technology, is a social impact start-up that provides real-time, on demand access to sign language interpretation services in India. In this video, the CEO of Signable Communications, Tarun Sarwal shares how they offer deaf people a mobile interpretation service in Indian Sign Language, enabling them to communicate with anyone, anywhere, anytime.
