This report draws on lessons from the GSMA Mobile for Humanitarian Innovation programme’s Strategic Partnership portfolio. These lessons were identified in a detailed systematic review of over 150 pieces of evidence, 12 in-depth interviews and a workshop that validated the lessons. This process enabled the team to robustly identify the building blocks necessary to create and strengthen a digital ecosystem that benefits all stakeholders involved in the preparedness, response and recovery stages of humanitarian assistance.
