This new specification defines the APIs that an Operator Platform would use for its interaction with the device-side clients. This would enable those clients to discover the most suitable edge application instance to support them and to maintain optimal service while mobile or roaming. The APIs covered for the User Network Interface are mostly defined by 3GPP’s EDGEAPP functions. Therefore this specification defines a baseline for the APIs that an Operator Platform and the clients accessing it would need to support to enable the Operator Platform use cases.
