The GSMA AgriTech Programme has hosted three webinars to present the recently launched GSMA AgriTech Accelerator. The Accelerator, launched with funding from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), aims to support and fast-track the growth of innovative, revenue-generating digital agriculture solutions that support the programme’s mission of improving smallholder farmers’ livelihoods, financial inclusion, and climate resilience.

Following our previous webinar, which provided an overview of the GSMA AgriTech Accelerator, its key objectives and focus areas, the support package on offer and the key eligibility and selection criteria, this webinar expanded the content to address questions we have received from prospective applicants. We reviewed the concept note application, provided a reminder of the innovative use cases we are looking for and walked attendees through an example of a user journey. We also highlighted what applicants needed to focus on in their application, discussed some of the more challenging questions and provided recommendations about strengthening the inclusivity of services.

This webinar is targeted at digital agriculture solution providers interested in applying for the Accelerator.
