Private Networks in Industry: Hype, Reality and What’s Changing​

As private networks move from concept to real-world deployment, the conversation is shifting from hype to practical implementation. Questions around deployment models, spectrum strategy, and ecosystem collaboration are now front and centre for enterprises and the wider telecom industry.​

Sectors with mission‑critical operations and high automation needs including manufacturing and industrial industries are driving demand for private networks. The GSMA Private Networks Community together with the GSMA Connected Manufacturing and Production Community and 5G-ACIA brings together key stakeholders to provide a structured, practical view on how private 5G is being designed and deployed today for these industries.​

In this live session with GSMA – Networks, we will explore 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆: 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲, 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, unpacking the latest industry thinking and real-world experiences. The session will open with an introduction to the GSMA Private Networks Community, followed by insights from 5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation (5G-ACIA) on the role of private networks in industrial transformation.​
