Webinar: Building a Connected Product with Mobile IoT (LPWA) – A Guide for Developers

Navigation

Start:
January 23 @ 3:00 pm
End:
January 23 @ 4:00 pm

Built for IoT applications that require long battery lives, are low cost, and often operate in remote and hard to reach locations, Mobile IoT technologies (low power wide area in licensed spectrum) are set to securely and efficiently scale the Internet of Things.

As the industry standard for low power wide area (LPWA), both Mobile IoT technologies, LTE-M and NB-IoT, have quickly established themselves as a favourite with many companies around the world building innovative prototypes and improving their existing solutions.

This webinar is aiming to help product developers, device manufacturers and start-ups understand the essential components in the Mobile IoT development cycle and available tools to enable the creation of innovative, connected products.

Hear from leading industry experts about:

  • Global availability and scalability of Mobile IoT
  • Modules and development kits: the key to innovative solutions
  • Mobile IoT open labs: a toolbox for developers
  • Forging valuable relationships with key industry players
  • A start-up success story

Featured Speakers:

Martin Buch,
NB-IoT Expert, T-Systems International Digital Division
Deutsche Telekom

Martin Buch, NB-IoT expert at T-Systems International Digital Division, started working on the topic NB-IoT early 2016, when the first NB-IoT equipment was available for Deutsche Telekom (DT). For DTs initiative “NB-IoT Prototyping Hub”, where roughly 20 partners implemented first use cases with NB-IoT, his team developed a prototyping environment for early partners and an application layer on NB-IoT for the fast integration of DTs IoT Suite Cloud of Things.
