Already widely available in China, NB-IoT combines minimal power consumption and kilometres of range with secure connectivity that can scale as the market grows, making it the perfect fit for IoT devices.

But how do you start building devices, get to market the fastest, and manage your devices in the field? In this practical hands-on workshop, Arm, China Unicom and Tencent Cloud will help you

  • Build your first NB-IoT device
  • Connect it to the mobile network
  • Manage and update your devices once they are deployed
  • Ensure end-to-end security

Developer kits will be provided to attendees, and a handful given away at the end of the day so you can keep experimenting at home.

This workshop is aimed at developers and technical decision makers looking to either break into the IoT space, or improve their current offering with NB-IoT.

  • Attendees are required to bring a laptop to use during the workshop.
  • The workshop will largely be held in English.
  • Seats are limited and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
