Mobile Internet of Things Industry paper
The growing usage of connected devices, machines and vehicles is making organisations more effective and enriching the lives of individuals. To support the development of this Internet of Things (the IoT), the mobile industry is developing and standardising a new class of technologies that will help network operators to tailor the cost, coverage and power consumption of connectivity for specific IoT applications. Aimed at business leaders, this paper discusses low power, wide area (LPWA) technologies that will enable connected devices to have a battery life measured in years, rather than days or months.
