Dagan Connectée

In March 2024, on the eve of International Women’s Day, Togocom launched a new initiative to improve women’s digital skills, called ‘Dagan Connectée’. Dagan means ‘Elder Sister’ in mina (one of Togo’s popular language).

The programme ‘Dagan Connectée’ has been initiated in partnership with TIDD, a pan-African organisation based in Togo focusing on technology, innovation and sustainable development. The aim of the programme is to empower women’s digital skills by training them to successfully integrate digital solutions into their business activities, in order to increase their revenues.

The pilot phase started in March for one year, will target micro-entrepreneurs’ women in Lomé age between 18 and 45 years old.
