Transforming Industry Challenges Today into Opportunities of Tomorrow

5G will be a key enabler for businesses in adopting new technological solutions and bringing businesses to greater heights. Maxis as a key member of the GSMA’s APAC IoT Partnership Programme is on the lookout for key technological solutions of Intelligent Security, Smart Plants & Manufacturing Systems and Digital Experience, that can help transform the industry challenges themes, including Safe & Secure Next Generation Townships, Automakers of the Future and Modern Retail @ Fuel Service Stations.

Kevin Henry, Head of Strategic Engagement, APAC, GSMA has been invited to join the Thought Leadership Panel at Maxis IoT Challenge 2020 for sharing his insights about driving connectivity solutions across multiple industry verticals.

Kevin Henry

Head of Strategic Engagement, APAC , GSMA

Kevin has over 23 years of experience in the telecommunications sector working with various mobile operators regionally in APAC (Indonesia, Bangladesh, Cambodia & Malaysia) prior to joining GSMA as the Head of Strategic Engagement, APAC. He has held various senior positions in many roles with the last being the Chief Operations Officer of Tune Talk. He has worked with large mobile operators like Maxis, Celcom, Indosat Ooredoo (Indonesia), Robi (Bangladesh) as well as smaller startups like UMobile, P1, Seatel (Cambodia) and Tune Talk. He was crucial in the end to end service launch of 4G and content services for the large mobile operators stated above. He has both commercial and technical experience in the various roles he has held during his tenure.

He has a BSc Physics Degree (Honors) from the National University of Malaysia and part of the Malaysian MENSA society.
